Hey everybody

Wanted to start a new thread but the app I'm using apparently doesn't permit that and I'm having computer issues. But I wanted to check in and share news about Padalecki. Apparently he's going through something and skipped out on JIB this weekend. I stopped following his social media because he was getting more mean-spirited than I cared to be aware of but I'm seeing he left some disturbing tweets about needing to be with his family and needing a lot of love right now and asking people to send him messages at the hashtag #keepfighting…which is the one he & Ackles are doing to support suicide prevention. Some commenters alluded to the fact he's mentioned his own depression and mental health issues, I've never heard this but it would explain some things.

Anyway, I just thought we could keep a good thought for him. I know we've all got our own stuff that may be just as bad or worse but I know this kind of chilled me and I considered how I'd feel if this person I sort of watched grown up, this husband and father, was to do something drastic...it knotted my stomach.

(However, if he's screwing with us, I may be done with him forever.)

Yes Jared did not go to Rome for JibCon, he flew home. From what I read on Twitter and online, sounds like physical exhaustion, with perhaps anxiety or depression, not sure. He got a lot of support tweets from fans and SPN actors. I noticed there was something on CNN website, USA Today and entertainment sites about his tweets. He and Jensen are on Facebook. Apparently Jared has had depression in the past and he lost a friend to suicide this past year. He and now Jensen are working on a support system called Always Keep Fighting.

He and Jensen did Tough Mudder, going through an obstacle course in the mud very recently, maybe if they are going to do a lot of Cons, they should cut down on other activities though it is their vacation time from the show.

The only mean spirited tweets I’ve seen from him were to Tony Romo (Dallas Cowboy), Justin Bieber, just sarcastic comments about something in the news. Its been a while, hopefully he has thought better of making those kind of comments since he is open to getting it happening to him.

I'd been following him on FB (it took me a long time to believe those accounts were official, lol), but once I got tired of his twitter feed I ditched FB too even though admittedly, the twitter feed was far worse; I didn't need to see him whine about airlines anymore & I thought @ing Taylor and Justin and Romo and kanye & Kim etc--though I don't like any if them--was unnecessary and just as tacky as I consider it when fans do it to celebs. Unless they were personal friends, if he comments on a celeb, it's not good. But that said, I am worried about his mental health (i have been since that story about him flipping out on dome dude on a plane years ago) and agree that both boys need more actual time off than they give themselves. It's great that they do all the cons, especially Ackles because he sat out more than Padalecki in the beginning, but they're doing so much that they need an actual vacation.

No, i think this is a fan page; Jensen actually has a FB, that's the one I follow. If Danneel is on FB hers is private and not connected to his public account.

Yep, you're right...that's a Jensen and Danneel fan page. Oh well, I got a little too excited over that one. Lol.
