Michele, I watch Lucifer cuz its on after Gotham, he's handsome and charming but the show is pretty much the typical man and woman at odds but attracted to each other which has been done so much. No threat to our show or our Lucifer! I wonder if it will make it.
Dian, I liked Red Meat too, its always great when the boys go on a hunt. Sam is one tough hunter!

I watched it. I love it when Cas isn't in the episode. I have taken on a real dislike for him and I really get annoyed when they waste airtime on his character. I wish they would just get rid of him and bring back Bobby or anyone else. I started watching Second Chances on Fox. I didn't think I would like it but I do. I also like Damien on SYFY, which is a sequel on the movie The Omen and Shadow Hunters on the former ABC Family. Sorry I haven't been on here but I haven't been doing much. I'm pretty sure my Crohn's is out of remission. I was supposed to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy this past Thursday but the center cancelled it due to equipment issues. So now I have it on next Thursday. The doctor's office is trying to get my prescription insurance to approve putting me back on a biologic medicine like I was six years ago.

michlp i wasn't worried about lucifer. i figured it was another fox flops. lol anyone watch this weeks epi? red meat? i wasn't sure if sam was gonna make it. it was a little off track but next week looks like the darkness is back. idk how many more epis are left for the season? blackeyes2, I agree Read Meat was a bit off subject. I wish the writers would stay more focused on that then all these filler epis. I personally don't like epi's with Werewolves or Vampires involved. Supernatural shouldn't remind me of The Originals or Vampire Diaries. Lol. I watched Red Meat and I liked it. I was surprised that I did lol. I was still a little put off about another death comeback but it was a small annoyance in an otherwise good episode. It's sad to say that I'm pretty much sure now that all of this extraneous story is what's ruining the show. This didn't have any angels or darkness story, no nonsensical Crowley sitting around waiting for his next favor to Dean. It was just our boys, hunting. It also went back to looking more gritty like in earlier seasons, which I like; it wasn't bright…it was kind of dark looking and I think that helped. dianthusmoon, Well I'm glad you liked Red Meat. I agree with you about this epi's simplicity though...the boys just doing their thing....hunting. That's what the Winchesters do best. Sam is one tough hunter! casfan, I wonder if Lucifer will make it too. I haven't checked it's ratings at this point though. I'll check it out for curiosities sake. lol. Agreed about the boys...they are our hunters. Love to see them in action. I watched it. I love it when Cas isn't in the episode. I have taken on a real dislike for him and I really get annoyed when they waste airtime on his character. I wish they would just get rid of him and bring back Bobby or anyone else. I know exactly why you started to develop a dislike for the Character Cas...it was after our encounter with Misha. Right? I hate to say this but Misha was just down right rude when we met him at the ChiCon...that was the year we had gold tickets. I do like the character of Castiel normally on the show....he's so quirky. lol. What I don't think I can stand much longer...Cas being Lucifer's vessel. I can't stand Misha doing Mark Pellegrino impressions. Omg...lol! I hope you can get the meds you need...keep us posted in the Mature thread.

Ok I finally got to watch Chitters. I had an issue with my DVR...that epi was on a special night...it didn't record. Not sure why though...I thought I had it set to record new epi's. Why would it matter what day? Not sure. Chitters was OK...not a favorite for sure. I didn't like the new hunters they tried to incorporate into the epi with our boys. No mention of The Darkness in this epi....which is the direction I thought they were going with the story. So I started to watch Don't Call Me Shurley...I'm about halfway through. I don't even know what to say at this point about this epi.... Um Ok so they seem to be back on track again with the Amara/God storyline. The epi started off pretty good for me...I was kinda excited to see that Chuck was making an appearance in this epi. lol. I like him as an actor and a character on the show....and it's been a while since he's been on too. I always enjoyed seeing Rob Benedict at the ChiCons...he's very funny in person and he gets along great with the entire cast at the conventions. Anyway this is where they totally lost me....CHUCK as GOD??? Really? Are the writers serious? That is way too far fetched as far as I'm concerned. I wasn't feeling it at all. He certainly doesn't act like any God we've ever heard about in real life and on the show. Cat photos??? wth? So I hope that was some kind of joke? I'm hoping by the time I watch the other half of this epi something changes with this Chuck as God thing. Not happy with this one. I'll be back after I watch the rest of this epi and finish my review here. lol.

I liked Chitters exactly because there was no discussion on The Darkness, etc; I think the storyline is really stupid and the actress is boring and stiff to watch.
Chuck as God has been alluded to for years, ever since his last appearance. However, Rob said when asked, that Chuck wasn't God. So either he was lying or didn't know what was planned…or the writers called an audible and decided relatively late into things to make Chuck God even though they weren't going to before. I don't know if I have a problem with it except for the fact that none of the angels recognized God when they saw him even though they can recognize each other in different hosts. I haven't seen the episode yet but I'd be interested to know how they explain those inconsistencies away.

I liked Chitters, it was weird but at least it didn't have anything to do with the darkness, Amara or Cas. I like the idea of Chuck as God but not when he started acting like a whimpy dick. Chuck being whimpy is nothing new but being whimpy and a non-caring dick too, that was too much.

Yeah I think at this point I really really needed God to just show up--regardless of His form. I keep saying this but I'm not zealously religious but I think it shows a disregard/disrespect of organized religion to have God be an absentee father or simply disinterested. I probably won't see this episode until tomorrow or Wednesday, depending on how I feel, so I have to reserve all other critique of the goings on…save to say that I will undoubtedly hate anything involving Rowena & Amara unless it's terminating them and as much as I initially enjoyed them, Castiel & Crowley are but shadows of their former, more interesting selves, so I really don't need them any more either.

Okay, just watched DCMS
Lame
For as much as I needed resolution, the explanations for why made no real sense. I was open to Chuck/God but I don't by why no one knew who he was. Now I suppose it can be argued that God could do that but then I'd counter and say that I then do not buy the reason he would want to. So none of that worked for me.
It was nice to reference the samulet though the burning bugged me for some reason. Something about the cgi glow they need to work on.
I was surprised not to hate Metatron. I still want him gone because I think his usefulness is over but at least he wasn't cartoonishly villainous.
I'd really like for the boys (Dean especially) to stop with these name-calling insult "prayers"; doesn't sit right to be asking for favors and being a…well, you know…about it. Again another slap in the face to organized religion.

I assumed Chuck was Kripke and thus God at the end of Swan Song when he disappeared. I'm looking forward to see how they interact, er awkward! I found myself liking Metatron too, liked that he both told God off and was in awe of him. I liked the end, who hasn't wanted someone to step in at the end of an epi and fix things LOL. 90 more mins, see ya later.

Another episode where I didn't loathe Metatron (but good riddance). Dean was perfect…making me cry with his crying. I like that Chuck has those moments where he reminds them with a look about who he is…I miss when Castiel used to get that kind of respect. I'm not opposed to the new profit, probably because I'm a fan of the actor from L&O and Angel. I'm not sure Kevin's appearance did anything--& I was a Kevin fan--but okay, he was there. I liked the Lucifer/Chuck exchange. Amara still sucks.
