The Marquee feature is awesome, Mish! I can see me having too much fun with that. Glow seems intersting too but I'm wondering if the halo can be any other color or just red. Let's see... [glow=red,2,300]Dear Jeremy, More shirtlessness in season 8![/glow][glow=red,2,300] [/glow] Seems like an announcement was made at riocon that s8 is going to have 24 episodes Somebody at the CW loves us!

LMAO you are having fun! It is the best of the options so far. I totally don't get strike through, why not just delete? Anyway I looked for invisible or even white font colors but I didn't see anything. I figured maybe they'd have grey but nope.

I found this post on the site Supernatural TV. It is about Eric Kripke. I hope he stays involved with SPN during season 8...I was even hopeful for a season 9 if we stay this strong. We'll see what happens. I'm sure his new show will be cool too...but I just worry about the future of Supernatural."This isn’t about Supernatural, but it’s still great news. SPN creator Eric Kripke is returning to TV this fall. NBC has officially picked up his new drama pilot, Revolution. The show about a post-apocalyptic world where all forms of power have mysteriously vanished is also produced by J.J. Abrams. The show stars David Lyons (The Cape), Billy Burke (Twilight and 24) and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad)."

I found more information online about season 8 and who will be stepping up. It looks like Jeremy Carver will replace Sera Gamble. I can't wait to see where he takes our Winchester boys this season.
I think they gave us a compliment in this article too. Our fans base is still holding strong...we've kept the CW's death slot alive. Our ratings are solid. Woo hoo! Go Supernatural! ;D The CW What, you thought that the series would end with lucky number 7? It’s not called ‘Superstitious,’ it’s ‘Supernatural,’ where things live far longer and beyond explanation than any of us can imagine. That’s why it shouldn’t come as much of a shock that The CW’s flagship sci-fi fantasy series ‘Supernatural’ will indeed return for an eighth season. But be careful who you tell! ‘Supernatural’ producer Todd Aronauer was the one to break the news of the renewal on his Twitter, in expectation of an official press release from The CW, though the tweet has since been taken down. Tough luck, Todd! This is the internet! While the officially press release will likely follow, the renewal comes in anticipation of the remaining three episodes of ‘Supernatural’s seventh season, which this Friday will re-introduce former series regular Castiel (Misha Collins) as the Winchester brothers recruit the fallen angel’s help in their ultimate battle against the Leviathans, beginning with “Reading is Fundamental.” The show’s renewal, impressive considering series creator and former show-runner Eric Kripke departed after season 5 once he’d told the story he intended, also arrives on the heel of the news that current show-runner Sera Gamble (who took over for Kripke) would be stepping down after the seventh season, replaced by former ‘Supernatural’ executive story editor and co-producer Jeremy Carver. The renewal had been expected from stars and fans alike, given the show’s solid ratings performance for The CW in the infamous “Friday Night Death Slot.”

I saw the info about the pickup of Eric's new show. It sounds almost like Falling Skies...almost, in the post-apocalyptic sense. His leaving didn't surprise me...I'm used to that after studying at the school of Whedon -- left Buffy for Angel, left Angel for Firefly...not totally gone, he wrote a few eps of the previous series but the main focus was Firefly.
I think people don't realize how Kripke had stepped back even before Sera was officially announced. So I'm not fretting too much about if the show can be sustained without him, as long as the levis leave this season (the alphas too for that matter, that never passed the logic test for me). For the first time, I actually agree with some fans' idea of going back to the beginning -- no overall arc, just MotW. It feels like s8 might be the last so instead of some grand gesture, the boys should go out in ordinary fashion just 'doing the job'. No death (otherwise we get no movies! well, it could still be done but the boys have physically matured so much that it'd be hard to pull off a movie that took place earlier in their lives), just going out as they came in.

I found some more interesting info about the unknown future of Supernatural. And hopefully season 8 leaves an impression in the supernatural world. Let's at least go out with a bang ‘Supernatural’ Renewed For Season 8; Will it Be its Last? The tale of the Winchester brothers will continue for another year, as The CW announced today that they have officially renewed Supernatural for season 8 – but could this be Supernatural’s final bow? Despite an unconventional seventh season, news of Supernatural’s renewal isn’t likely to shock fans of the series. With news of showrunner Sera Gamble being replaced with Syfy’s Being Human showrunner Jeremy Carver – who formerly served as a producer on Supernatural - it left little debate about its chances for renewal. For fans, their concern lies largely in what the focus of the series will be, as it heads into its eighth year on the air. Supernatural’s season 7 nemesis, the Leviathans, appropriately became a “C” storyline rather than a direct focus, fans began to wonder what had happened to the series they faithfully watched for many years. Instead of an overarching story that was driven by each episode, Supernatural’s seventh season quickly became disjointed with its storytelling. While nobody will argue against shifting focus away from the “evil” Leviathans and their intentions of taking over the world corporate-style, a litany of self-contained episodes that didn’t really go anywhere wasn’t really much of an upgrade. Fortunately, Supernatural has never really been a series where continuous issues brought concerns about renewal. With mistakes largely occurring few and far between, fans of the series are typically more forgiving than fans of other shows. Even if Supernatural can turn things around and make an amazing eighth season, could this be the series’ final run – no matter what? When Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles resigned their contracts for the series last year, it was for two additional seasons (7 and 8). So after next season, both actors would have to renew their contracts. While only Ackles and Padalecki can say for sure, it’s becoming more difficult to believe that they would want to continue the series into its ninth or tenth year. And after this season, there are certainly some fans who don’t feel like it even should. Of course that doesn’t mean that it won’t – I suppose it’s something we’ll just have to wait and see in the Supernatural season 7 finale. Now we just have to figure out a way to get Castiel (Misha Collins) back… and Bobby (Jim Beaver) back from being dead.

I'm seriously freaking out about the cliffhanger. They are going to kill us this year with their infamous cliffhangers!
Check out this recap about the last couple epi's of season 7. I was looking for info about the finale online and I found this article. This might contain *SPOILERS*. It contains info from epi's 22 & 23.SPN Season 7 Episode 23 "Survival of the Fittest" Promo "Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) prepare for battle with Dick Roman (guest star James Patrick Stuart). Dick's in the final phase of his plan and the Winchesters must team up with Castiel (guest star Misha Collins), Bobby (guest star Jim Beaver), Meg (guest star Rachel Miner) and Kevin (guest star Osric Chau), the prophet, to stop him. However, Dick is one of the smartest enemies they've ever faced so it's a mind game to see who can keep the upper hand." "There Will Be Blood" showed how Sam and Dean got Alpha Vamp's blood for the weapon and how Bobby's anger got the best of him. Now, they just need Crowley's blood and the bone of a righteous mortal. Even once they have those, it's not going to be so easy to just go up to Dick and kill him. They're also going to have to worry about Bobby out there going after Dick too. Will they be able to kill Dick in the season finale, or will that be part of the cliffhanger? The Supernatural season 7 finale promo for episode 23 "Survival of the Fittest" (below) states the plan: "Take out Roman or die trying." Sam and Dean are on their way to SucroCorp. As Sam puts it, "All we gotta do right now is get in and stab Dick." That's much easier said than done. Crowley points out that Dick's not stupid and knows what they're after. Having Crowley and Meg in the same room should be interesting, to say the least. It looks like Meg's on distraction duty, but will that be nearly enough to get the job done? Meanwhile, it looks like Bobby may be the one choking Sam. Will they have to burn the flask at the end of this? The promo ends with Sam, Dean, and Castiel standing outside an Authorized Personnel Only door at SucroCorp. Dean says, "Don't get killed," and Sam replies, "Yeah, you too." They have died enough times as it is. There is some good news though: the Impala is back! There is going to be a cliffhanger, but fortunately fans already know there will be a Supernatural season 8. It's just a question of who's going to be around next year. Obviously Sam and Dean will be (it's not like either of them stay dead for long), but everyone else is a question mark. Will they have to lay Bobby to rest by the end of the episode? Sam and Dean worried he'd become a vengeful spirit, and those concerns were justified. Will Crowley, whom Dick brought in for a chat at the end of episode 22, survive and end up being a thorn in their side yet again? Just what did Dick say to him in that talk? "There Will Be Blood" did hint at Alpha Vamp coming back ("See you next season"). Will Meg, who has somehow survived since the first season, make it through this fight? Will Castiel, who's not all there? What about poor Kevin, who just wanted to focus on his studies and get into Princeton, end up caught in the middle?
