Not quite about Season 10 but Jensen finally caved and joined Twitter at VanCon! He is @jensenackles. Jared is @jarpad.
Yesterday they tweeted to each other and sent pics from the set. I also saw pics of Jensen doing a fight scene.

I also saw pics of Jensen doing a fight scene. I was so surprised to see him join twitter...I figured it'd start snowing in hell before that happened. So far I think he's using it right & while I see his feed in an alternative way to twitter itself, I haven't heard about anybody making him regret it yet. I'm reeeeeeeeally hoping for better this season. I will watch this show until it leaves the air but I really need to fall back in consistent love with the seasons overall. In theory I like the idea of watching life as demon!dean, but I've got a feeling it'll be a lot like soulless!sam...which will be another flip-flop instead of a fresh idea and I'll be disappointed at that, but we'll see. October isn't that far away; I will be getting my obligatory pie & burger to open the season  |

casfan, I'm not on Twitter. I'm gonna have to be at your mercy for some Jensen updates once in a while...please.  dianthusmoon, I'm hoping for an awesome season 10.  I'd like to re-watch season 9 now though, before season 10 starts. I was hoping Netflix would have it available...I'm gonna check again.

Michele, I believe you can watch SPN right off the CW website? I'd look there. I will let you know if Jensen does anything interesting. Looks like they are spending a lot of time together In Austin, they went to the Austin City Limits concert, there are pics online. I suppose they travel together too.
8 more days until the new S10! It seems so far off and now its almost here. Remember there is a retrospective on Monday night October 6 and 8 PM, a look back at previous seasons.
Dian, I think they send tweet but I wonder if they read much of what is sent to them, it would be so much, I can't keep up with mine! Maybe someone monitors it for them.

Casfan, I've watched the epi's on the CW site...I hate the commercials on there...and the video doesn't always load properly. Idk, I think I'm spoiled because I have Netflix now. Lol. Thanks for the heads up on any good Jensen tweets. I totally missed the the SPN Special when it was on Monday night! Omg I got side tracked because I was running errands later that day and I got all backed up with my other tasks on my day off. Ugh. Thankfully my handy dandy DVR recorded the Special...whew.  *I'm gonna rewatch the premiere one more time before I post on this thread about it. I watched the premiere, but I feel like I had too many distractions when it was on. So I'll be back... Don't like Deanmon, I did enjoy watching Dean being the bad boy. Dean looks so hot being bad. Mmm hmm...  |

I really enjoyed the premier. The special had cool moments but I expected more depth than there was but it was alright. But this is the first season in a while that made me anxious for the rest of the season. It looks like it's going to be different than soulless!Sam which is a relief because I was really bugged by the idea that this Deanmon was a variation on that and therefore would look the same but this is Dean so I think this is going to be interesting (I hope I'm not wrong).

Another drive by, Dian, sounds like the boys (J2) are having more input on what happens and their characters if you see their comments from Torcon etc. I don't think they were happy with some of what as been written, last year for sure. It sounds like we will have more Sam being Sam and Dean being Dean, I know people are hopeful about Sam's storyline this year. Jensen played guitar and sang a bit for the stragglers on Sunday. There's a bit of video out there.
The special needed to be 2 hours to get more depth LOL. I thought that John and especially Mary didn't get much mention. Adam was forgotten LOL. Mom always gets forgotten! It was nice to see and hear from Kripke too though I'm mad at him for abandoning the show.
SPOILERS:
I liked the "Special" opening and that they played the closing theme.

Posting 3 in a row, bad bad bad! I had to weigh in on the end of the 1st epi, Dean said "Sam knows I'm a man of my word". Was that a trick? Dean is a demon now. I feel he will go to save Sam.

I'm glad Dean didn't go save Sam...this deanmon is so much more compelling for me than anything that's been done on this show in years. Usually every season the boys just trade off personalities: one season Sam is thoughtful & Dean is wreckless, then it switches, then it switches back...etc. Dean has always been self indulgent and cocky but this demon version has an edge. With all of the bringing characters back from the dead, it's like seeing a brand new character. This Dean is nothing like soulless!Sam or anybody so far. Black and Reichenbach have renewed my excitement for this show. I'm not just watching because I'm loyal and the boys are hot, I'm loving it (so far) again.
I am so far behind on con stuff that I hadn't heard about their feelings about the characters. Guess I'm going to need to look into it now that I care lol. I think the malaise about the last few seasons made me withdraw from other show related stuff: I stopped keeping track of cons or even looking at vids & I dropped out of FB groups, I stopped following tags...now I'm inspired again. I hope this continues.
