Well, this is a different Cas so he's not behaving as we are used to but he's consistent with the Cas he's become since trading cuckoo with Sam. He still has obvious affection for the boys but he's also obviously trying to avoid fighting...he told them that...there's no malice in it but he just goes when trouble comes now. But he's coming back next year too so he has time to get over it lol
Baby must be coming back to take her rightful place....otherwise fixing her up was a waste of budget money for the show lol

My take on Cas disappearing was perhaps he popped somewhere in purgatory to get something to defend them with and will pop back in right away. He is quick! I know Cas said he couldn't/wouldn't fight anymore but as soon as Dick threatened Dean in the finale, Cas stormed at him. I can't imagine Cas would get himself out of purgatory and leave Dean behind alone. We will see! Also, since the demons and angels didn't have access to purgatory I guess they will be unable to help or hinder Sam or Dean. I wonder if Cas will have his powers at all. Final idea, I wonder if Cas as an angel didn't "belong" in purgatory so he was thrown out and that is why he disappeared.  As I write this, I am listening to a Twin Cities radio station morning show and JDM is doing an interview about Magic City. I haven't seen it, it is on Starz. It has 8 episodes for S1, I will have to get the DVD. He sounds different! No mention of SPN, darn. I guess he was on Jay Leno Thursday night. I didn't see it. |

JDM has been making the rounds. I hope the show goes well for him but I tried watching it & couldn't get into it. I had a feeling I wouldn't, that time period holds no interest.
I'm wondering how Cas got to purgatory anyway if angels weren't to have access. I have to watch the last couple eps again...I've only done 1 viewing. I remember being left with the impression that Cas left on purpose by the way he talked before leaving.
Misha is so good at being a weird version of Cas lol. drunk!Cas, broken!Cas, hippie!Cas...they all amuse me so much, Misha amuses me. I look forward to seeing him at a con. I won't be around for his panel this yr but hopefully he's coming to NJ next yr where I hope to have a gold seat. He is always 'on' & he is so accessible...and considering how some people talk about him, you'd think he'd have an armed guard to keep people back from him.

I may buy the Magic City DVDs to check it out, I wish series with less episodes would be lower in price, it doesn't seem to be so. I might have to wait for a sale.
Okay, this has nothing to do with S8 of SPN either LOL.

Here's a contribution about s8: If you have an iPhone/iPod/iPad (I think you can get it on iPad), get the Supernatural countdown app. It gives you a pic with a countdown timer to the next ep and vids (the vids are in a separate section if you're worried about them starting when the app opens...so spoilerphobes won't be spoiled). And if you're so inclined, it allows for sharing to fb & twitter & has a web section with the latest news about the show. Best of all, it's free  It's currently counting down to the start of the new season 130 days, 4 hours, 39 mins, 22 secs *I am not affiliated with the app creators, I just have it and think it's cool |

casfan, Cas is fast! Lol. I hope you're right and he comes back for Dean or at least defend Dean. CAS!!! Where are you? 
@dian, Count down to season 8!! That's an awesome phone app!!! I didn't even know something like that existed. I'm sure my stupid phone won't support that app. Is it just for smart phones?

There's stuff in there I haven't seen from previous years so I guess there is legit new stuff in there. Unless some stuff from other shows has been mashed in there.
This app is an iPhone app...I'm not even sure if they have an android version but yeah, you have to have a smart phone.
