I think people understood not being able to get guests, the complaints were mostly about poor communication & not giving people refunds who don't want that money held onto for another year. I get that, there's no way they know they'll have guests next yr and to hold people's money in this economy when people need it, when it's not their fault for the delay, doesn't seem quite fair. I've never heard anything about problems with their Supernatural cons.

A vacation would be awesome! The convention is in Melbourne so where I live, but there's also going to be one in Sydney. I'm going with my best friend. We're also hoping to stay in the city the night before so it'll be a really fun weekend. Me too!!  Right there...very cool.  That will be a very fun weekend with your BFF

The karaoke night is so much fun! We've had a blast there! The guys are so much fun and they are all crazy! Crowd surfing! Last year Sebastian took a flying leap off the stage into the crowd...and around the crowd he went! Then all the guys took a turn at it...it was too funny. I forgot who had said this..."You don't want to know where I felt hands". LOL!!!  ;D

Funny thing that happened last year at this event. We didn't realize that the event was a real fast costume contest at the exact time it says it starts. We assumed it was like a costume party and came a little later than the time it had said it started. Well to our surprise when we walked in...hardly anyone was in costume.  We walked in all in costume and we asked someone what was going on with the costume party. They told us that they had already had the contest for best costume and it was already over. Oops! I guess we know for this year what to do and/or not do.   THE "SUPERNATURAL" COSTUME CONTEST
Here's an opportunity for you to show your creative talents by entering our famous Costume Competition. Held on Saturday, come dressed as any Supernatural character (or make up your own) and vie for audience applause and great prizes including a $250 gift certificate. Good Luck!

You know I just realized that the Jensen Photo ops aren't included in the gold package. Am I right with that? I thought I read that on the Creation site. If that is the case that is crazy. For all that money they can have all the photo ops included?

I'm looking now & it looks like only autos are included...no pix at all are in gold Is that odd? I've never been to a con (yet) but I've priced gold for several, since I'm not interested in pix or autos, I never pay attention to those parts...are pix usually included? I've got their page open right now & it doesn't mention that any photo ops are included. |

This looks interesting. It is new to me since I've never had gold tickets before now. So I guess RF and I will find out what this is all about. Anyone here ever enter this contest before?

Create the very best centerpiece that touches the hearts of our judges and you might just win a special $250 Gift Certificate! Just be "GOLD" and bring your entry to the party and that's all it takes to enter! CELEBRITY guests also are part of the fun... some of our guests attend and are escorted table to table to meet all attendees. You are invited to take pictures of the guests as they enter and then asked to put your cameras away so the celebrities can also have some fun! A cash bar is offered for those that want beverages. There is A YT vid of the recent Creation con cocktail parties...I think this is because Matt took off his shirt LOL (he took off his shirt a lot at whichever con this was, which he says he will nto do again--unless someone gives a WHOLE lot of money for a charity). I can't recall if it was Burcon or Nashcon but it probably won't be hard to find. The Js never seem to attend these things...I'm told they get in the night before they go on (if not the same day); it's usually Matt, Dick & Rob. I think the vid I saw was Also Misha & Kim Rhodes. Maybe Rob was there, I don't recall now. The contest wasn't very exciting though the cast were so funny to be around--a lot of cussing & dirty talk LOL and of course, Matt taking his shirt off. But they seemed to be the ONLY thing to add fun to that party cuz other than that it was just looking at some centerpieces :/ (some weren't very good)

I'm sure some of those centerpieces were pretty sad looking...I know mine would be.
