I wanted to take this time to remind our membership about confidentiality.

The mature thread is locked for a reason: this is a place where we come to talk about all things under the sun--whether it be more mature thoughts about the show or what's going on in our personal lives--so please respect that and keep what you see here, here.

Also, for the membership that does decide to share personal anecdotes, you may want to keep in mind that while the most active among us go way back, we do have new members and lurkers that you may not know as well, so you may want to be selective about what you tell or the detail you go into.

We're not accusing any members of violating the implied trust, this is just a friendly reminder. We'd like to think that everyone will guard member privacy as if it were their own but we as staff cannot guarantee that. The only person that can protect you is you. So always remember that this is the web and what you put out there is out there and you don't know what happens to it after that. Even in locked threads, there are ways of disseminating the info word for word or paraphrasing; a members only fansite is still a fansite on the web.

I never thought it would happen to me. I know it may sound naive but I have always thought of myself as careful and cautious but I guess sometimes it is really east to over share when we feel the internet gives us a feeling of being anonymous. I chose to put myself out there by making you tube videos so perhaps I am a bit at fault with the way people reacted to me I gave them fuel to cyber attack me. I can take the criticism fine in fact I welcome it if it is constructive. But the internet also has giving bad people a platform to target people and it often goes beyond a mean comment calling someone ugly its psychological it seem to grind at you. I have to be my own advocate and watch what I say I cant give people power over me and you know what I will not ignore a threat if someone says they will find me and beat the snot out of me that is serious. I will try not to visit sites where it gets bad but honestly I should be able to talk about things that I enjoy without these asshats. I removed many of my videos posts as well as trying to block people. I should have never let these people upset me honestly when they said they were 40 and 50 years old and they are targeting 20 something that is just plain cowardice they chose the wrong girl. This may not be one of the most active sites but it is ours and I love how we pick one another up. I understand we all have lives outside the internet but I like our little clubhouse.

The forum tries to keep members safe as possible...so this is just a friendly reminder about internet safety and privacy. The Mature thread is accessible only to forum members for a reason...this way the personal stuff is a little more private. The General board and sub-board Creative Box are for the Supernatural related threads. The sub-board Clubhouse is for members only...that's where members can chat about more private stuff...anything off topic. The forum is also monitored by the staff...the forum will enforce disciplinary measures when needed. Members, please report forum violations to any staff member. The forum staff will address the subject as soon as possible. Thank you for your help. We have a Supernatural playground here...keep it safe for us crazy SPN fans!

Just wanted to bump this to welcome our new members and encourage them to join in discussions or create their own.
We're not the most hugely busy board but we appreciate all contributions. You don't have to worry about getting flamed or disregarded because of newness here. A newbie's contribution s just as valid as anyone else's.

I posted on here, but no idea where it went. :/ Anyway. I said it was nice to hear since other message boards aren't as friendly as this one. Everyone here has been so welcoming even though I don't post much. Thank you!
