Omg I have to see them doing the Harlem shake!! LOL! That is too funny. I've seen endless you-tube videos of people doing it...soooo funny. We were doing the Harlem shake in the car on the way to Detroit...bunch of grown adults acting like spazzes. LOL.   
LOVE that Cas is back!! I saw the epi Goodbye Stranger a couple of nights ago...I really enjoyed that epi. Lots of info in it about Cas.  It's my favorite epi to date.

I'm finally all caught up with the epi's. I watched Goodbye Stranger and Freaks & Geeks the other night. I really enjoyed Goodbye Stranger...there was a ton of info about Cas...plus I thought the whole epi was well written. My favorite epi so far.
I wasn't as impressed with Freaks and Geeks...it was ok.  It was no comparison to Goodbye Stranger...so maybe that's why I didn't care for it as much. It paled in comparison.

It paled in comparison. i knew this would happen when the fandom got overly excited watching dean with a kid  unlike a lot of the fandom, dean fathering every kid that comes along does nothing for me. i didn't even care about the ben-thing. he raised his brother, i think that's enough. i don't know what's behind the naomi storyline but i need this to become clear because i'm over this thing of making every being in heaven look either evil or indifferent. there has been as much unscrupulous doings from the celestial beings as any creature on this show and i think it's gone into disrespectful now. i could deal with the whole 'angels as heaven's warriors' thing, so they weren't always sweet and cherubic...but to have, how many seasons now of the heavenly inhabitants being pretty much evil? well, that's insulting, imo, and i'm not even a hardcore religious person. i think there needs to be some storyline where someone in heaven besides cas & alfie were decent beings. and God needs to be a part of righting this madness up there, even if he's never personified onscreen. to have him just letting all hell break loose in heaven & earth for years now....it doesn't sit well. |

I did watch last weeks epi...Taxi Driver. That was a good epi. Great to see Bobby! I was hoping they would have him back on the show now. With his soul going into heaven now...not sure how that's gonna play out.
I liked the twist with Ajay and hitching a ride to purgatory and the back door to Hell. I have to admit though...I was starting to worry when Crowley got to Ajay and Sam was stuck down there. Again Benny to the rescue for Dean. I have to admit I kinda liked Benny and Dean working together. I can only assume that he was killed when he sacrificed himself for Sam to escape purgatory.
All and all a good epi...next epi looks like a filler though...Pacman Forever?

Ugh, another Charlie episode coming up. The character was not nearly interesting enough to bring back the two times that she's already been back...now we've got to deal with this silliness a third time (& probably more after that)?
The only good thing is that, for some reason, most of the female fans seem to like her better than the other chicks that've been on the show (probably because she won't be after any of the boys) and that makes us look less insane as a whole. But seriously, the characters they bring on now (Charlie, Garth, Benny, what was that crazy dude's name in the trailer, Frank?), none of these people have whatever that 'it' is that made it easier to like the the one-offs & recurring characters from years ago.
I do like Kevin Tran. But pretty much don't care about anyone else recently introduced and that includes Charlie. These role-playing gamer storylines they trot out for her character's benefit makes me yawn. It's right up there with time travel in the pantheon of I Don't Care, Can We Never Revisit This Again? We don't need a female Dean; I said it when they tried to make Jo one & I say it now.
All that being said, I need a new episode before the BIG hellatus.

aaaaaaaaand as expected, i cared not for this episode. it didn't totally suck but i just SO don't care about charlie. she is one of the least interesting characters they've ever had on here. being a gamer/nerd does not an interesting person make. and her emotional scenes made me yawn.
the brother moments were good & i liked how dean responded to charlie's declaration; i seriously would've been annoyed if he'd responded any other way considering his past relationships. i don't even care that he'd have meant it in a family way, it would've bugged me that he said it to her and not cassie or lisa or even sam or cas.
i don't think we've seen the last of her. phooey.

I've no idea why those preferences went away or where to go to get them back - if you can get them back. Anyway, I liked the Escapist and Clip Show. I thought I wasn't going to like Clip Show...I still feel like this Men of Letters thing feels tossed in and so does everything that goes with it, including Avedon...but I wound up liking the episode because it just went right for your heart and ripped it out! I'm warped but I like that stuff. Things get too easy or warm & fuzzy in shows like these and I lose interest. I think that's why the MoL thing bugs me; while I like that the boys have a base, this place is too good to be true -- the electric and water worked even though nobody's occupied the place for years? Everything was in good repair? It's got working computers and is hidden from everybody, an angel & demon? Files on everything? It's just a little to convenient. Now, maybe there'll be a twist where this place is a trap, or there really are other MoL who've been using the place that they don't know about...that'd be a good twist. But as it stands, this place doesn't make sense. Yes, that seems to be a ninja...I guess that can be for when casfan & SJ tweet LOL |

Yeah charlie annoys me its like they wanted to make a character kids like me could relate to but hugely missed the mark. now I like the actress fine but shes being herself its not really dynamic now did it in anyway fit with the rest of the story. as a stand alone I guess it was ok but in no way did it add to anything.as for the men of letters its a cool idea but they need to do more with the story.
