last night's episode SACRIFICE was pretty damned great.
best emotional padalecki performance i've seen since HEART. i like him as an actor but many times when he's being sad, it looks like he's 'trying' hard to be really sad but it doesn't actually look like genuine sadness...does that make sense? last night, he just looked sad. it didn't looked staged or fake or like acting. there wasn't that face he makes where it looks like he's trying to make himself cry...it just looked like he was genuinely crying.
and i don't overly sentimentalize the 'broments' but that was so good last night. my favorite scene all night in a really good episode. this one stays on the dvr for a while.

Yeah when I heard this I was kinda surprised. I thought we'd keep the Wednesday spot a bit longer, but Tuesday works better for me anyway. I'm actually off of work that day...yay. m   |

*Spoilers if you haven't watched the finale!*Holy crap! I watched the finale. I'm speechless. It was awesome....actually brilliant. What a way to end an amazing season. They seem to have explained some of the questionable angels actions. I was wondering the angels intentions with Metatron. Then all the stuff with Sam and Crowley...lots of deep emotional scenes with those too. I thought Jared's acting was phenomenal during the final stages of the trials. Of course I loved that Dean came to the rescue once again for his baby brother. I love the mushy scenes with the boys. Lol. Then when Abbadon made her entrance...wow. Crowley thought he was saved. Omg There is so much going on during this epi is mind blowing. The writers wrapped up a lot...but left us hanging on the edge of a cliff with this finale. Then Naomi and her plots to find the truth. I'm dying to know what Metatron is up to....and who is in charge up there? The way they ended the finale with the angels falling from the sky...wow. That gave me the chills...I can't wait to see what they do in season 9. I was wondering if Castiel remembered what had happened right before the angels started falling. I wonder if any of the angels are gonna have any memory of who they really are. Omg so many questions!

This is what I was talking about in my last post. I love Jared's acting here...Sammy is a mess with the trials...then with Crowley. I love that Dean comes to save his baby brother again.

The finale was epic setting up Metatron and Abaddon as baddies for S9. I think the angels will remember, Cas did when he first arrived. I think he may be in trouble with some of them, he may need to hide in the bunker! Maybe they cannot find him if he is human now? I think if Metatron is alone in heaven maybe Bobby etc will be used in S9, that will be cool. I wonder what will happen with Sam, will he be okay or sicker. Poor Sam.

A little SPN news around, writers, directors, etc are heading back to work to Vancouver and LA. I always think of them all being off until we see new shows LOL.
RIOCON was canceled very last minute, not sure why. That has to be awful for anyone traveling to a con, I know of one fan on twitter from the US going, she still went and was going to meet up with other fans.

I would have been extremely upset if that had happened to me. Especially when you think of people buying not only the tickets for the con, but airline tickets, prepaying for the hotel. I know you can get your money back on the hotel as long as you cancel before the day you were supposed to check in but I've never had to cancel a flight before actually using the ticket. Except for the flight home last year but that wasn't my idea, that was the airline's idea.

seems these overseas cons are having some issues...quite a few have been cancelled in the last 2 years.
the staff is hard at work. i saw jim michaels say something about they're filming out of order (which they always do) and that the title for the first episode is not whatever has been rumored...i forget what it was, i saw it a few times being bandied about but i forget what it was. guess it doesn't matter.
