An announcement was made on twitter yesterday about presale of the CD. Not sure if that means an announcement will be made today about a presale soon or if the announcement is that the cd goes on presale today.

Steve also said the cd will be available on iTunes, so I hope that's included in the presale so those of us in the US will not be made to wait to have it shipped in the mail (the cd release is being done in the UK & that's also where his merchandise store is based so unless they put it up on CD Baby or amazon, etc, any order of the hardcopy CD would be shipped from the UK). If I can get it today via iTunes, I'll be immediately listening & will give a review...not that we don't already know how good Jensen sounds anyway

Ok, the presale started yesterday but it's just for hardcopies. I want a hardcopy but I'm not having very good luck with pre-ordering stuff & since I'm still going to have to wait to hear it, I'll probably wait until it's available via iTunes & some US store so I don't have to pay international shipping. It's just the one song so for those people who only want the track Jensen sings on, this is what you should look for on iTunes. I'll try to remember to post when the CD is officially released later this month. And then there's still the Steve Carlson CD of original music coming out in November where Jensen is helping him write again.

you can check some of steve out live on yt if you've never heard him before; i love his music but i know what it's like to buy a cd for a couple of tracks only to find out you don't like the rest lol.

ETA: i just read an account of steve's panel at vancon: jensen's single will not be sold separately, so anyone wanting it has to get the whole cd.

There's vid out there of Jensen singing "The Weight" with Jason Manns from one of the foreign cons. Not sure if it's from an old JIB or a Spain con but Jensen & Jason were onstage together, Jason had his guitar and a fan asked Jensen to sing...crazy enough, he did. I don't think there's vid of Jensen singing with Steve. But there's plenty of vid of Steve from cons or his other gigs. Be warned that his name is so common that you'll get other people in your search that aren't him. Even with "" around it, you'll still have to weed out the irrelevant vids.
