this was just my way of hopefully getting lurkers to join in and gauging if members had interest in these other postings.

I'd like for the members to chime in about site content. You may have noticed that Michlp has pruning the site to be easier to follow. No one is really commenting on her work so I'm at the point where I'm curious to know if anyone would even care if the site only consisted of this thread?

I know I've been MIA recently but up until then, Michlp & I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to add show content...or ANY CONTENT that would add interest and encourage participation (in something other than this board) and we don't get any feedback on it & little participation in it. So I'm just going to ask straight out and hope this provides us with a definitive response: does anyone care about anything besides this (the mature) thread?

If not, it's fine, but please tell us so we don't wrack our brains trying to think of what y'all might be interested in. If this is all you want, say so...if you want something that's not here, say so.

Thank you for posting this thread dianthusmoon. I totally agree about needing more member participation and feedback. We have lots of guests and even members who lurk the boards but don't ever post. We need your input on the show too. Your opinion is welcomed here on this forum. The staff and myself have worked very hard to keep this board going for our Supernatural fans like ourselves. We'd love to hear what you think about the show and this forum! Feel free to use the Clubhouse sub-board for off topic stuff too. Can't wait to hear more!

The administration has some concerns about the inactivity in this Supernatural forum. We have tried many times to spark up Supernatural related topics and threads on the forum boards, unfortunately generating very few responses. We're at a crossroad of our own, not quite sure whether to shut it down or keep it going at this point. A suggestion was proposed by a staff member in hopes to revive this dying forum...change it up and give it a fresh look. Maybe even a new name? We need some new blood here to keep this alive. We're looking for any suggestions from staff, members, or guests on possible changes you'd like to see here in this forum.

Something that hasn't been previously discussed but I'll suggest here: there should be a time limit on when replies should be in...I'd say by month's end. We've repeatedly asked for help and either get no response or 'I like everything the way it is'--neither of which inspires more participation.

We totally get that people have lives and the busier they get, the more stuff like this gets pushed to the back burner--even we as staff have been guilty of being MIA recently--but staff cannot make a go of this all on our own. michlp comes in here at the wildest hours, after long days at work when she should be asleep or spending time with her husband, just to try to be involved. On several occasions I've started posts about things that get no responses...which is fine if the topic isn't of interest, but then no one has taken us up on starting anything else either. We've really only got one thread going here and even that is poorly attended and really not what it was set up to be.

So I think input needs to be in by the end of this month...this of course is left up to michlp to decide. Let's go into a new year with a new focus or possibly end it altogether. It's pretty obvious that no one wants to discuss the show anymore...so is there something that folks DO want to discuss that would entice participation? If not then I think it's only fair that we know so we don't keep coming back to bugging you all for help and wracking our brains trying to figure out how to get people interested then thinking we've failed when it doesn't work. If there's no saving the site then let us know so time and energy can better be dedicated to other aspects of life.

I think if this is another plea that goes without input, michlp may have her answer about what should be done with this forum.

Hi SPN peeps. I mean to participate more but I forget (I'm lame). I know I've posted things that don't get responded to as I'm sure others have; one problem I think is that we are on here at different times of the day or night.

One idea/thought is that perhaps fewer threads would be easier to keep track of and respond to; maybe one for discussing the show and one for more personal communication between members. If I think of anything else I will come back and add! Hey everyone out there please feel free to post, we're not scary!!!

We know life takes precedence over the virtual world, we just want to make sure we're doing our due diligence in making sure people aren't actively being driven away from the forum due to content or lack of activity.

michlp & I will give all suggestions consideration. You should know that she has already pared us down but maybe we still need to simplify some more. I know that the pro board system takes some getting used to. I love the way the old lounge was set up but I've yet to be aware of any other host that runs boards that way.

We can always count on you to chime in, thanks again for helping us try to breathe life back in here.
