Wooooo hooooooo!! I'm there! I can't wait. I'll be with my usual group...rbnfrancis & witchcraft13. Crafty will be doing her vendor table again this year. Rbn and I have preferred tickets for Sunday....and I'm guessing we are gonna get general for Friday and Saturday. I have to check the availability of the general tickets for those days.  I bought seat tickets for us for all three days Mic. Look at the email I sent you. lol. There's six tickets total. I admit the seats kind of suck but I have a good Nikon camera in layaway that should get us great up close pictures. Is your hubby allowing you know who to stay with you after last year's disaster with the couch? lol. |

I have to go back and look at the itinerary because I thought the costume party was the karaoke party. Do you intend on participating in the costume party? Do you have a costume idea already? I enjoyed the panels. I wouldn't want to miss them standing in lines for things, so I totally get that rationale. Seems like you get less for the money, but they're the only game in town. Not that it can't be a good time, you just have to decide how to get the most bang for the bucks you're willing to spend. I hear pretty much every ticket level has a great time. Well, except for GA; I do hear complaints that there aren't enough seats and people are standing in the back-- and not because they want to, like the staff will tell you. I went single day preferred and it was pretty good seating...though it was NJ and probably a smaller venue than Chicago. I think that's the cheapest I'd go because I do want to sit during the panels and I don't want to wait in line to try to beat others in to get a seat. I'll have to check that out about the Halloween/karaoke party. We have dressed up for Halloween at the Con the last couple of years. I love to dress up in costumes...we had a lot of fun doing that. We went to haunted houses afterwards. Omg we waited in line longer for the haunted house than the Con. Lol.  Really enjoyed the panels too. There were also people standing up in the back at the Chicago Con too. The hotel is nice...but the seating sucks. I can't see no matter what...I always have some giant person sitting in front of me. I thought you just did Sunday. Omg! I'm so excited! THANK YOU!!!!!    (feeling extra smiley right now) Wooooooooo-hooooooo............ Idk what's going on with the sleeping arrangements yet. I think Crafty is doing the vending again and mentioned staying at the hotel for the Con, but mentioned staying here the other nights. So whatever you guys decide is ok with me. This year will be less hectic...hopefully no "hurry up and wait" days. Lol.  |

I know every couple of years, Dick & Matt change the theme for the karaoke party; recently it's been this school-related theme (Matt in a cheerleader's uniform!) but they're talking costumes this time. They may go as peas & carrots again but you never know with them.

I'm looking forward to it...especially getting to touch Jensen in the photo op. Haha...oh yeah. |

I forgot about Dallas being between the two. Reports are that it was one of the best. I'm so behind on con vid watching, but I see a lot of pix. There was a piggy named Icarus who apparently stole the show.

I saw the pics of the pig too, Jensen for sure held it, not sure why there was a pig there, it may have had to do with Misha, the pig was small and cute.
I guess Jared spent a lot of time talking to each fan in the autograph line, he stayed over an hour after Jensen left or more.

witchcraft13 (aka Crafty) went to the Dallas convention. She was a vendor...Sounds like she had a successful run there with her vendor booth. I'll see if she'd like to elaborate here about the Dallas Con.

@michlp, how many people here from this forum go to the ChiCon? Curious cuz it sounds like you've been to a few Cons. Have you been to other cities for this too? I never went to a convention before. I need someone to find who can go too.

There are a 3 of us from here who have gone to the Chicago Con together. It has been fun for the most part...lots of waiting in lines at the conventions.  I'm looking forward to going...a couple weeks to go. You should definitely get to a Con near you. Do you think you can find someone to go with you? Hopefully another SPN fanatic.  |

rbnfrancis, I was wondering if you had your travel arrangements made for the trip yet. It's right around the corner at this point...I'm getting excited! What day of that week will you be here? Wednesday or Thursday? I wasn't sure if you were flying or driving either. I'm just trying to get an idea in my head of what's going on...not sure if I have to pick you up from the airport and which airport. I'm a planner...lol.
